I had to share what the scripture says regarding the differences in whores, whoremongers, husbands & help meets, that we may recognize, bypass & not waste our time being led astray. It is written that, "For a lack of knowledge, my people perish..." Don't be deceived, enjoy...
"Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.) So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows. Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed. With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death." - Proverbs 7:4-27 (KJV)
"For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life." - Proverbs 6:26 (KJV)
"My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit." - Proverbs 23:26-27 (KJV)
"Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." - Hebrews 13:4 (KJV)
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." - Revelation 22:14-16 (KJV)
"For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." - Eph. 5:5 (KJV)
"But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;" - 1 Timothy 1:8-10 (KJV)
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." - Revelation 21:8 (KJV)
Don't get it twisted, males & females alike can be whores. My brothers & sisters, beware the feeding of flirtation & flattery. For in most cases, it's just plain fake, and only to take advantage of the naive, and those with an open heart whom seek to be loved. Your token of wisdom to take away is this... "There is neither husband, nor helpmeet, but nothing but hell in a whore." - Erron R. Johnson
"These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended." - John 16:1 (KJV)
"And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me." - Luke 7:23 (KJV)
You know... This isn't an attack on anyone I've ever dated or have been iin a relationship with, neither boasting in any way, but I just want to thank God for making me who I am, and for all of the gifts & talents He's blessed me with. In this case, for being able to see a beautiful, strong, loving, virtuous woman for who she is, and everything He's created her to be. Needless to say, I've made mistakes in choosing, just as we all have, yet each time my eyes were opened wider, and I beheld a clearer picture of what that blessing is... A True, Blessed and Good Thing. (Proverbs 18:22)
