"I choose a man that is after God's own Heart, I choose a man who has the fear of God in him, I choose a man that is strong like Job and can endure, I choose a man that is obedient and takes heed to the law, I choose a man that is loving and will help me tend in my secret place with Jesus and a sniper in the spiritual realm, a man who has intimacy with God and loves more than himself... this is my ideal for a character of a man, that I look for in a husband, however these seeds may have been planted but not manifested yet in him when we meet , God could be doing a work in him as He knows my desires for the time in singleness is to grow, so we are suitable for eachother in marriage" - Chantel Paris
...Someone responded, "That's a lot of expectations on a man. Be careful. We are all just human after all. Be very prayerful about it."
She respectfully asked my opinion/reply... And it was this: "Interesting... That man does exists, as a matter of fact, there are many. It's quite a heavy cross that he bears, yet this man would give it to the Lord, making his yoke easy, and his burden light. For the glory of God, this man is willing to endure pain, persecution, affliction, for he knows he's not bearing that cross alone... Along with the Lord, he'd have a virtuous woman by his side, filling the void of his once missing rib. Solomon infers that this virtuous woman doesn't exist... Yet with over 700 concubines, selecting the best qualities of each, and mentally forming one such a woman, how could she? Literally, he sought what the "perfect" woman for him would be. Yet Jesus exclaimed, "There is none righteous, no not one, but the Father in Heaven.", even after being called "good master," He asked a woman, "Why do you call me good, there is none good, but the Father..." Essentially saying, "Not even I..." for He was in a fleshly body. My personal opinion, is that this was His reply, because though He fulfilled the law, (the Ten Commandments,) He came here in the form of man, and therein being the fact that flesh and blood cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Otherwise, He knew no sin. I ponder at times what my ideal mate would be like. She's loving, kind, caring, compassionate, selfless, likes nice things, but cares not for the things of the world, patient, understanding, temperate, and MUCH more... Again, loving... And most of all, God-fearing, being equally yoked and one accord with me, for the Lord. Putting nothing before Him, nothing before God... Especially not me." ... I just thought that should be shared... Be Blessed
