Can you imagine that there's a man, other than Jesus, that would love you unconditionally, just for who you are?
He's a man that doesn't care about your past, but only your present & everlasting life. A man that desires nothing from you, but that you allow him to love you.
One that loves your features, yet doesn't see your flaws. You can share with him your falls, yet he doesn't see them as your fault. He knows that you aren't perfect, but he loves your imperfections. One that desires to carry your baggage, and heal your scars.
He aims to please you and doesn't miss, to love and provide for you and your children, and share his life with you. A man that helps you to relax & unwind after he's had a long day. He'll prepare your baths, cook breakfast, lunch or dinner, is always up to quality time, respects your interests, and will hold you close through the night.
He expects that there will be ups & downs, but he doesn't give up, nor give in. He's not perfect, but he's saved, he keeps God first, lives by faith, and believes in love, and therefore, will love you, as Christ Loves the Church.
He does exist… I'm one.
Yes, you will say that unconditional love is easier said than done. Especially when we have always believed that love is give and take. Try believing that love is simply giving. They say "Give until it hurts". Let's say, "Love until it hurts no more".
