People complain about what they go through, what they don't have, how long they've been going through, etc. What about the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years? What about the man that lay at the pool of Bethesda, that had an infirmity of 38 years? What about the blind that the Lord made see, the dead that were raised, the lame that walked, the multitude that were hungered and were fed? What Moses, Job, Elijah, Abraham, David, the Disciples, Paul? They all moved by FAITH, on God's Word alone. They PERSEVERED through persecution, surely they were tired, surely they were stressed, disrespected, beaten, tormented, called liars, hypocrites, etc. And they did these things for YOUR benefit, for my benefit, so that we may partake of the exceeding, abundant joy in Christ, living a comfortable life in this world, yet caring not for the things of this world. I feel a shout coming on... IT'S NOT ABOUT US! Many of us claim that we're waiting on God... God is...He always was... And He is still... Allow me to get a bit Shakespearean on you... Open thine eyes, thou fool. GOD IS WAITING ON YOU. So what if you go to church every Sunday, attend every Bible study, without a pure relationship with Him, you're just going through the motions. We have a great comission in sreading the Gospel to one another through the love of Christ. Jesus said, "If any man will come after me, let him DENY HIMSELF, and take up his cross DAILY, AND FOLLOW ME." - Luke 9:23 (KJV); "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me." - Matt 10:37-38 (KJV) "Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart." - Ephesians 6:6 (KJV) You see, "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Isaiah 64:6 (KJV)... IT'S NOT ABOUT US... BUT GOD!!!... Thank you Lord for using me this day as your mouthpiece, may the Lord add a blessing to the reading of this Word.
