Status Turned Note... We ALL Need To Know This (Moving Forward)

"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in... any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you." Phil. 3:13-15 (KJV)

Here's the deal... If you walk through a door, and hold on to the doorknob, you can't move forward. What do I mean by that? You can't move forward without letting go of your past, even yesterday. People... It's time to deny yourselves. God WILL not do a new work in your life, because you won't be able to see it for the clutter of your past. Stop hoarding the pain, heartache, failures, losses and abuse. Allow the Lord to relieve you of your burdens and BRING you into your breakthrough.

(A friend responded...) Well Brother Johnson applause. NOW tell us how do we let go of our past? One thing to say it but not everyone know how to do it. :) Do you have an example of how you got through a burden. (not recently silly) Somethg I don't already know about?

Good question... Well, the first part is the hardest, and that's accepting and admitting that you have issues, or problems with holding on to past hurts, grudges, loves, losses, etc. In all of these areas, and this entire process as a w...hole, it takes ONE word, One action... Forgiveness. Of course we may not ever forget, for many things in life occur for our learning, and to push us to grow, IN FAITH, that is. When we learn to TRULY forgive and to earnestly pray that God alleviates/removes the spirits of doubt, disgust & despair from us, then we can begin to move forward in life. How do we do this...? Acceptance. Every, and I mean EVERY issue that we face in life has already been nailed to the cross. Many say, "I've been hurt...; I need time to heal..." Our healing came at Calvary before we were even born. Jesus' death, burial & ressurection made provision for our sins, hurts, for our pains, heartaches and sorrows. Your healing is waiting on you. "For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls." - 1 Peter 2:19-25 (KJV)We have to accept it... It's already done.

Thank You for Your Son... Thank You for salvation.
