Everyday Love...

This year, we'll spend it at home... No restaurants, no noise,
No one before our eyes, but you and I alone...

Your favorite meal shall be mine this eve...
Name it, and you've got it, your personal chef is me.

Let's talk about you, before we discuss our future,
A little stimulating conversation as we listen to Luther.

Not Ingram, but Vandross, there'll be no loss of thoughts, neither time,
As our intellects intertwine, discussing a love so Divine.

Only God knew, what would become of you and I,
That we would together tie a love ribbon in the sky.

It feels so good, oh yes it feels so Right,
This bad boy's having a party, if only for one night.

Not just any love, for the ordinary just won't do,
I envision virtuosity when I think of you.

I'll fall asleep between the sheets, on Feb. 14.
Yet discreetly seek peace, til the day that we should meet.

Yet how do I know that we haven't already, I'm speaking beyond physicality to spiritual brevity,
A brief passing of our inner-man, our hearts so steadily...

Casting away mountains that oppose, our reaching plateaus of spiritual growth,
Together...

We can weather all storms, by faith in the arms and hands of God,
Together...

Can you imagine how great it would be to make passionate love, not to your date,
But to the one who's your God-sent mate?

Espoused as we mesh into pure happiness, honoring God with the best we can give from our flesh,
Together...

Truthfully, fruitful and pleasing to Him,
No repentance required, for therein is no sin.

I await the precious moment that we draw near,
One day can't express enough year after year.

In my heart, there's a love that ever grows and never fades,
Not just on Valentine's, but every single day... for you.

Let's Comfort, Hold, and Love One Another
