Tired of Being Alone...

I know too many beautiful, good-hearted women that have been & are being taken advantage of, some unknowingly, simply because they're tired of being alone, some thought they "knew game" when they see/saw it, & still got hoodwinked, and chose to settle for less. I know some males that are truly good-hearted, hardworking men that have been, or are being taken advantage of as well. Same reason... Bad choices, settling for less than what's blessed. Personally, I'm tired of seeing my friends & even some strangers go through meaningless relationship after relationship being lied to, cheated on. hurt, misused and abused, all because they're "in love" with their mates, wand their mates only "have love," for them. We love wholeheartedly, always considering what we can do for them, whereas they're always wondering for the same thing... what we can do for them, give to them, buy for them, etc. And some spend even a little money on us, but no "real," "quality" time, time with God, together... Love cannot be bought.... period. Over time, after much hurt and pain, I learned to love God, to seek Him first, and though I've met some beautiful people. I've had great disappointments, (at times being wrong, hearing my voice over God's,) and sometimes not even able to tell some that God had made it clear to me, that we weren't to be together, because I didn't want to hurt their feelings, but still our friendship remains... Nevertheless, I made up in my mind to stop looking, to be content while single in Him, to KEEP God first, to KEEP my confidence in Him, not to move forward in that which He hasn't approved in my heart & spirit, but to wait on Him, expressing my heart's desire, but awaiting Him to fulfill it, as he prepares she and I both for His purposes in the meanwhile... To my friends, if you're not on One accord in Spirit with the one you're with. Take a step back, reflect on what God says, if they don't honor His Word & wait, even to stop engaging in sex with one another, until you're wed, placing His Word and walking in the spirit ABOVE the flesh, then let it go, TRUST GOD... Sometimes we have to abandon our dreams that we may see His vision clearly... Wait on the Lord... Be blessed.
