Faith... or Fear?

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV)

In this life as Christians, we have a challenge to trust God, to apply our common knowledge and understanding to life and it's various situations, yet not to rely on the temporal, tangible, material things of the world, or the people therein, but to simply, "live by faith."... It's written, "But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” - Galatians 3:11-12 (NKJV)... We often hear the quoted scripture, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." - Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) But many are often left wondering, "What exactly does that mean?" It means that if we don't place our TOTAL trust and dependence on, and IN GOD, standing on, and FULLY BELIEVING EVERY WORD, ASSURED that WE WILL SEE that which we do not yet see at the moment, but that GOD WILL BRING IT TO PASS, without a shadow of a doubt\, then God is not pleased... In the book of Matthews, in the latter verses of the sixth (6th) chapter, Jesus commands & comforts us by telling us not to worry about what we shall eat, drink, how we'll be clothed, etc. for our Heavenly Father knows that we need all of these things. And that since He clothes the grass in green, feeds the birds of the air, then He shall surely provide for we that are created in His image, and in His likeness... So don't worry. In many things, we become impatient, taking matters into our own hands instead of waiting on the Lord. Take heed... When we fall short, it is the gift of grace, the act of our repentance in heart and action, and by our belief by faith that we are justified in the sight of God, regardless of what man says, thinks, or what the enemy would have you to believe in God not loving you all the more, simply for believing in Him. It is by faith that we are saved, delivered, healed, protected, provided for, redeemed, sanctified, blessed, obtain the Holy Spirit, grace, mercy, favor, power, prosperity and increase. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." - Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV)...  We're to walk by faith, and not by sight, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)... The Lord says, "Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” - Hebrews 10:38 (NKJV)... Trust God, for just faith without works is dead... We mustn't fear, but work our faith.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
